Hi, good morning sir. Thanks for the opportunity. Sir, a couple of follow-ups on the topics that were discussed. One, on the tax break, if you could give a breakdown of the profile of the consumers maybe for the industry or for Hero MotoCorp whatever you have in terms of the occupation, how much is the rural mix, how many are salaried customers and how many are business or SME kind of customers, whichever way you build the profile, is there anything available like that?
Okay. Second, I had a question on demand. We notice that till festive period, the demand for the industry was pretty buoyant, and in the last couple of months, things seem to be slow. So, just wanted your assessment of the demand conditions and also the financing conditions?
Hero MotoCorp Limited CC-Sep24.pdf · 2024-11-15
Congratulations on a strong performance and also the rankings for Dow Jones Sustainability Index. My first question is on the demand environment itself. I saw that company has grown around 13% in the festive season. How does it compare to the industry growth, if you have any data around that? And are you seeing , after the festive season , also demand sustaining? That would be my first question.
That's great to hear. Sir, second question is on margins. We saw very good improvement on a quarter-on-quarter basis. Probably the other players may not have seen this when I look at the data. So it's a 2-part question. First, if you could just let us know, is it just the parts mix or any other factors are here? And second, we can also see -- particularly, I was talking about gro ss margin, and the second is, we can also see investments going on as well from your side, and you have talked about it for some time to drive growth. So how should we see the investments for growth continuing? EVs, in particular, you're still investing cl ose to between 150 to 2 00 basis points. Do you see a visibility that localization and PLI benefits - by when could they be available? And as they come, should we expect margins to improve? Or should we expect that you would invest more for growth as you have been talking about?

Sir, my question is on Xtreme 125R and Vida. What is the reach? And how much will it get to? And we have started to see some ramp -up in volumes of Vida, so if you could elaborate, what are the actions that the company has taken that is helping this ramp-up in volumes?
Okay, that's great to hear. And how should we think about the evolution of Vida or EV business profitability from here on? Because you've talked about cost reductions. So by when can we see that benefit of? Can you give us an update on where are we in the PLI journey? And overall, sir, if you could talk about the fact that if we go from, let's say, 5,000 to, let's say, 10,000 units per month, then should we expect the drag that we are getting from EV business, that will start coming down?

Good evening, sir. Sir, just wanted to understand your thoughts on the growth profile of the market if we make 2 broad buckets, 350CC and the portfolio of that, when you look at growth, there is some increase in mix for the 350CC. So when you are looking at things going ahead for next, let us say, 2-3 years, how do you see that and any factors here that you would like to share that why the 350CC mix has gone up? Because 650 also we had or 450 also we had good launches and the base is low, so the growth could have been higher there as well, so any thoughts there?
Do you see the mix shifting towards 650 or 450 over next 4-5 years or, you don't see any significant change?

Hello, Can you hear me
Ok yeah thanks for the opportunity and congratulations on a strong set of numbers. Sir, I first wanted to understand if you look at the quarterly performance, it looks like the strategy that we outlined seems to be playing out well. We had come out with some new variants and there seems to be a pretty big response from the customer. So is this -- I just wanted to understand how you are thinking about this? Is this something that you intend to continue? Was this a temporary action? And then we've seen some sharp increase in other expenses in particular. So if you could just help us understand, are there any nonrecurring items or these are normalized business expenses?

Good evening sir, congrats on a strong festive performance. My question was on, when we look at demand, you do sense that industry demand is also good or showing signs of revival, or most of the improvement is more attributable to the actions you have taken, and also between rural and urban what would be your rural and urban mix currently and are you noticing any different trends over there?
Okay, great to hear that. Just a small one, if you could just share what is the current inventory level that you have?

Yes. Good evening , sir . Just one question I have. We are seeing some supply constraints for rare earth materials because of the Chinese Government putting some restrictions on that. So, are you facing or likely to face any kind of supply constraints on account of that ? And also, for the connectors if you could tell us , what percentage of the connectors are localized?
Okay. So there is no risk of any supply disruption on account of that?

Yes. Good afternoon, sir. Sir, just one clarification on the tariffs. On the non-passenger car revenues, will there be reciprocal tariffs that will be there on those? And how are the customers reacting to this -- are they going slow and waiting for the tariffs situation to settle , are you seeing some run down schedules because of that?
Sir, for your US operations, there was a ta riff on steel and aluminum also that has come in US. So could you just help us understand what is the impact there because I see that operation has turned profitable this quarter?
Bharat Forge Limited CC-Jun24.pdf · 2024-08-08
We saw very strong performance in the defense business. So, if you could talk about, what were the areas in which this new orders have been won, and in terms of ramp up also, if we note, new current run rate is somewhere around 2500 crores annualized, and the order book is somewhere around 5400 crores. So, earlier we had talked about the fact that this order book could take like three to four years to execute, but our execution is running much faster. So, how should we think about this are the execution timelines much faster. And, if there is some outlook here as well?
Sure, sir and the order wins, what areas were these?

Good evening, sir. Congratulations for a very resilient performance. My question is on emerging businesses. You know, w e started this consumer electronics plant, but emerging business revenue has seen a bit of a dip in December quarter. Also, the margins are holding pretty steady. Usually when we start the new plants, sometimes there is an impact coming on account of that also. So, if you could help us understand seasonality of revenues and also if there should be some impact on margins for to start off with itself, we are making good margins in the Consumer Electronics division and by when do we expect to hit optimal performance in that division?
Yes, no thanks for that answer. I also wanted some color on Consumer Electronics division. How much time does it take before it hits an optimal profitability profile for the first plant?

Hi, good evening, sir. Firstly, on the e VITARA, I just wanted to ask if you've identified any top four, five target countries in Europe or other regions of the world that you think have got significant potential? And Suzuki was setting up a battery plant I think. So, any update on that? And what will be the advantages for Maruti when it starts sourcing cells from there?
And secondly, just on the cost outlook, if you could share more broadly for the next year, are there any cost inflations to keep in mind for next year? And also, how do you think about the fact that there is a capacity expansion happening across many of the leading OEMs next year, do you sense that competitive intensity could be higher next year?
Maruti Suzuki India Limited CC-Sep24.pdf · 2024-10-29
I just want to understand for the growth for this full year, we are talking about 3% to 4% in retail. And first half has been flattish. So, is it that we are feeling that demand conditions in second half of the year to be better? Or are there any reasons where Maruti Suzuki would gain share? Also, on the CNG mix, if you could comment, we have seen very good improvement. It's at 33% already. Do you see this rising further? And any thoughts here where it could get to in the medium term?
No, I was just trying to understand any factor that you feel will be supporting this.

Just on the electric scooter business, I wanted to ask because we are touching almost 900 dealerships. What percentage of the scooter market does it cover? And then secondly, in terms of the customers we are getting now, are these -- do you think are these scooter -- existing scooter customers who are shifting? Or are there additional motorcycle customers also shifting towards electric scooters?
Sure, sir. These 900 dealerships, they would cover what percentage of the scooter market?
