Yes, thanks for taking my question. Sudhir, you had earlier pointed out that the insulin CMO sales which we had logged in 2Q and 3Q would get recouped in 4th Quarter. But that doesn’t seem to have played out. So, do you think that business has got lost and hence you are pointing to this insulin CMO sales are standing only at a Rs. 75 crore per quarter kind of a number going forward?
We are guided to almost Rs. 120 crore of sales getting recouped in Quarter 4. So, do you think that the same quantum will get recouped in Q1 and Q2 o r the numbers could be lower now because of, let's say, whatever dynamics are playing out in the insulin market?

So sir, on these two assets, Thrissur and Guntur where we would be getting just 5% revenue share, can you talk about your thought process in terms of taking on these assets? Because typically, in O&M model at least for some of the other O&M models, which we have been having we give out 5% rental revenue share, whereas for these two assets because the economics would just be 5% revenue share for us, do you think that given the economics, it made sense for us to take on these assets?
Sure, Dr. Abhinay. So would we have first right of refusal for acquiring these assets?

Yes. Dr. Abhinay, can you talk about these incremental hirings which we are doing on the corporate side. So the ex CFO of Aster has joined you. So what are your broader plans in terms of, let's say, some of the senior corporate hires?
And Dr. Nitish and Sreenath, have they invested equity into the Karnataka cluster? And in terms of, let's say, our plans for doctor hiring for the 2 Bengaluru hospitals, how have those been progressing?

Yes. Sir, I had a question on our operating margins. Now last year, first half of the year, if you look at our operating margins, excluding other income, we were around 26%. And in the second half of the year, that number has declined to 24% because of the one-off costs, which you incurred. So third quarter, there was a one-off of INR14 crores and fourth quarter there was a one-off of around INR10 crores, so maybe INR25 crores one-off impact. So for our modeling purposes going into next year, should we take 26% as the base margins to be working with? Or do you think some of these one-of costs would continue going into next year as well?
Sure, sure, sure. And Dr. Abhinay, just some clarification on Kondapur expansion. The presentation talks about these 500 beds getting commissioned in first quarter of FY '27. But I think Dr. Bhaskara or you pointed that some part of this capacity could come online next year as well. So can please clarify on that?

Yes. Hi, Dr. Abhinay. Given that we have relocated the Sunshine Hospital beside Begumpet, what happens to the old Paradise Campus? Any plans for that? Yes.
Okay. Sure. And on Sunshine, you spoke about 30% EBITDA margin. Now, part of this margin benefit was expected to accrue from the rental savings which you would have seen because of this relocation. But, given the fact that now you are retaining the Paradise campus as well, are you still confident of margins at Sunshine accruing to that particular kind of a number?

On both Sunshine and Nagpur, we have seen a very good improvement in occupancies on a quarter-on-quarter basis, so how much of this occupancy improvement in Sunshine and Nagpur was owing to the seasonal business and what kind of a trend do you expect on occupancy that these two hospitals going forward?
Sure and in terms of doctor addition plans both for Sunshine and Nagpur, how much of that is completed. Can you indicate in terms of let us say a percentage basis in terms of let say an X number of doctors which you wanted to hire at Sunshine in Nagpur, how many of those doctors have already been hired?

Sir, can you please explain the rationale for putting up a facility in the U.S. market again. So I understand that this facility is coming up for Enzene. But do you think that you could ha ve serviced that part of the business from your India capacities? Or do you think that for scaling up on the CDMO side, you would need a facility in U.S. separately?
Sure, sir. And for the CDMO business, would we be targeting biosimilar kind of opportunities? Or would we be targeting innovative product sales?

Now if we look at our value growth for both the Third Quarter and 9M, our value growth has been 10%. But if we disaggregate that between volumes and realization, then the volume growth both for the Third Quarter and 9M seems to be between 2.5% to 3% kind of a number. The volume growth in our portfolio both for the Third Quarter and the 9M has been lower only. So, can you comment in terms of slim growth settling over the next four quarters and are you planning to take another round of price increase?
If you are not planning to take price increase this year and if we don't see much of an acceleration in volume growth next year , do you think that we can sustain this current growth going into next year?
Dr. Lal Path Labs Ltd. CC-Sep23.pdf · 2023-11-02
Now on this four-year value figures which you called out as 13%, if I dissect these numbers on an ex -Suburban basis then our ex -Suburban value figure is somewhere around 10.5% and if I also back calculate the volume growth for us on an organic basis that is still trending around 7%. So, both in value as well as volume figure our growth is still below pre -COVID level. So, pre-COVID FY17 to FY20 our volume growth was trending around 12% - 12.5% kind of a number which was driving a mid-teens kind of growth for us. So, we are still very far off as far as that mid-teens growth on an organic basis is concerned. So, can you call out in terms of why we are still not back to pre-COVID level growth?
So, any reason in terms of whether organized players, because you have been pointing out that the competitive intensity in the space is coming down, we have taken price increases as well. So, with these two factors working in our favor, still the growth is not back to what we were seeing earlier. So, anything in terms of structurally which could have change or which is changing due to which the growth at an industry level seems to have slowed down?

Regarding this target of 70% to 72% kind of occupancies for next year, can you help us understand in terms of what would help us to drive this occupancy improvement given that in first half of this year we are at around 65% kind of an occupancy and if I see even in FY20 our peak occupancy used to be 68% , and at that point in time, the ALOS was also higher, and as you have indicated, the ALOS numbers are also down, let's say from FY20 levels, the ALOS numbers are down 20% , So, do you think that you can hit this occupancy target of 70%, 72% for next year?
So, with this decline in ALOS, do you think that occupancies is the relevant parameter to be tracking, so instead shouldn't we be tracking, let's say the growth in IP volumes or occupied bed days rather than tracking the occupancy metric?
