Congratulations on good execution in a difficult environment. So I wanted to understand on the China and India pipeline. I mean so how large or how material are this pipeline? Because as of now, I think they don't contribute much to the business. I mean, w ould it be sufficient for us to offset this slowdown, which is clear in Europe and U.S. part of the piece. Just wanted to get some color around that. And how would be the billing rates here? I mean the billing rates are quite lower versus wh at the general to robust clients?
Okay. Understood. Second question was on the -- I mean, European OEMs is back-to-back profit cuts, also talks of does it structurally face a challenge for us for the 3% to 5% kind of growth that we, as a player and as an industry, we used to have? Does it face a challenge to that? Or should we see third quarter for us being once again back to the range of 3% to 5% growth that we used to have?

Congratulations on a good set of numbers. Sir, you mentioned about the pipeline, the growth being there, 20% Y -o-Y. Can I get a broader sense as to how has the pipeline growth grown over the last 3 months, last 6 months? You mentioned a significant growth. Any number over there will be helpful. And also what is the growth here in Europe on a 3-month, 6-month basis? Is the pipeline growing strongly for Europe? Some color on that will be helpful?
Just a Y-o-Y number. Sorry to interrupt, but just a Y -o-Y or Q-or-Q number, not the absolute number.

Congratulations on great set of numbers. Sir, I wanted to understand the substantial increase in cash balance, which has happened in this quarter, INR 850 crores of cash at parent level has gone up to INR 1,920 crores. Can you reconcile this how much has been received from JJM and how much is coming from operational improvement? I just wanted to get a sense from that.
Understood. My second question was on the large -sized projects. You mentioned that the incremental order book is on the HVDC and underground metro side. Just on a broad cut basis, I mean, large-sized complex projects, let's say, out of INR 65,000 crores, how much percentage would be large -sized complex projects versus, let's say, 2 years back, we were having INR 42,000- 43,000 crores. So just to understand the change in composition of these large scale projects in the order book.

I wanted to understand on the water side, what is the total pending which is there on the water? And how much is billed and how much is unbilled, some color around that? Also, you mentioned, I think, INR240 crores has been received in Jan, right? And the expectation is that by either April or May some collections should materialize? So I just wanted to understand how does it work? Is there a central authority? Is it more granular? Or it is just 1 single authority or 3 single authorities working. Just wanted to get some color.
Understood. So out of INR700 crores, how much would be UP on a broadcard basis?

Is this audible?
Yes, sure. So, congratulations on the deal. I mean, a couple of good deal wins over there. Lastly, I wanted to understand on this, I mean, a large TMT client which we have. So, I mean, publicly different TMT clients have called out the AI investments that they have made in. As of now, I mean, 20% to 30% of the product codes are written by the AI investments which they have made in. They are talking about taking this automation to 80% to 90% over a period of 5 to 7 years. Now, fundamentally, does this pose challenge to us from the business model that we are operating in? I just wanted to get some clarity around that, you know, from a 3 -4 year perspective. If these high-tech companies are talking of increasing their coding from AI investments that they are making, how does our business model is placed in that situation? Some color on that would be really helpful.

Samir, wanted to understand, having the deal pipeline overall which has been there quite good, cloud, data pipeline or even on the MS Public and Dynamics side, the breakup indicates that it is happening quite strong. You mentioned 51% of our pipeline is now cloud and data versus 15% three years back. But how should we see this particular part of the business translating into revenue growth, should we see any historical growth rate that we used to have, 3% to 5% kind of growth, which was like one of the top quartile growths among the industry, should we see that growth coming back given the deal wins which have and the growth in the pipeline?
Second question was on the finance cost. You have given particularly good bifurcation of the finance cost in the presentation this time. So, I think if we can get an understanding as to how should one see each of these components of the finance cost for the balance part of the year, because I believe we were expecting that unwi nding to come down and even the interest on acquisition going to come down, how should we see these three components for the balance part of the year?

I mean, sir, I wanted to understand on the absolute EBITDA. I mean, when I see the press release, are the press release for international business, the EBITDA is INR143 crores. The EBITDA for 1Q FY '25 for the international business in the press release is INR129 crores. So, in that context there appears to be a 9.9% growth versus the 9.5% growth that you have mentioned in the press release. So how to understand it, is there any typo or anything like that?
Yes. So basically, I mean, when we see 4Q '24 press release, the international business EBITDA is INR143 crores. And this particular quarter, international business EBITDA is INR129 crores?

Congratulations on good set of numbers, quite wonder ful numbers in this environment. Sir, largely I wanted to understand on the TMT vertical, I mean you made a commentary that the ramp ups are expected to continue and the 4Q and coming quarters will also be strong. I just wanted to understand what is it driving the growth exactly over the large client that would be helpful? My second question was on the large retail deal I mean we had a $160 million deal, which was there last year. We were expecting a ramp up to happen in 3Q, so what is update over there because our retail number didn't move this quarter, so just wanted to get an understanding around that? And the third question was around the cash outflow, so for the acquired entities that is both Quant as well as the other company I mean when is the cash outflow going to happen? And should one consider any further increase in provisioning from here on or should one not considered that?
So, even if the performance, let us say, goes up from here and there will be no further provision which will happen?

Newgen Software Technologies Limited

Congratulations on a good set of numbers. Sir, largely, wanted to understand the Newgen LumYn side. If you can throw some color as to which area is this particular offering exactly trying to solve? Is it trade finances? Is it working capital? If you can just throw some color on what is the use case and application over here, that would be helpful. And second question was on the restructured strategy. I mean, you mentioned that the restructured strategy of tapping larger accounts is playing out well. So, if you can throw some color around the internal KPIs that we are tracking to get more confidence on this thing?
Sure. That’s it from my side. Thank you.
Newgen Software Technologies Limited CC-Jun24.pdf · 2024-07-18
Yes. Thanks for giving the opportunity and congratulations on good set of numbers. Sir, I mean, I wanted to understand there's a new product that we have launched Newgen's LumYn. So what is it exactly catering to and what problem is it solving in which area that would be helpful. Second one is the Western geography. I mean IT services companies are talking about the improvement in trends specifically for Western geographies. So what does your take specifically US and EMEA region? Do you see these geographies doing well for us for the balance part of the year versus what time we have been previously over the last 6 months? And the third question was on the fact that you just indicated about the PAT margin number of 20%. I mean earlier we used to get 18% to 18.5%, 19% kind of margins. Does it mean that our new numbers that we are looking at should be considered at 20%? Those are the questions?
Sure sir. That's really helpful. Just on the Newgen's LumYn side. I mean is this product like this development which is coming, is this development coming after having interactions with the customers in the Western geography or after having interactions with the India and Middle East clients? I mean what this product will be most suited for? Will it be most suited for large clients operating out of US or operating out of digital India?

Congratulations on good set of numbers. Sir, I wanted to understand the growth in the order booking. I mean at this time, the presentation we mentioned that the growth in the order booking is 20% versus this number was 30% last year same time when we started the year. So should you see a normalizing of growth rate happening because this year has been quite a stellar year. So should we see us coming back to 20-22% kind of a growth because given the fact that now we are starting the order book at 20% growth, last time, it was 30% growth, so some understanding on that?
Sure, sir. And how should one understand the new dimension. I mean you mentioned order book is not the only thing to repair for the growth rate. So I mean, because of the other dimensions that you are mentioning, if you can provide some clarity around that, that will be helpful?

You mentioned in the opening remarks that there was some decline in market share for us. What led to the decline in market share? Is it because of competition getting aggressive on pricing or because of lower inventory available for buyers? How to understand this? And why should one see that reversing back?
I think in the opening remarks, Gauri mentioned that on a Q-o-Q basis, you saw a decline in market share.

Congratulations on good set of numbers. Sir, would like to understand the Powergen side. I think this quarter the Power gen revenue has 34%, 35% growth. Now if I consider the realization, which is low, which is also in the similar range of 30%, does it mean that volume growth during the quarter was muted and some color on that would be helpful? The second question was on the pricing front dynamic. There is roughly I think around close to 1 year that the CPCB IV engines are in play . So how is the pricing panning out for us for CPCB IV engine, I mean, like over the last 6 months? Is it holding up or are we giving some discounts over there? I just wanted to understand that.
Sure. In terms of data centers, is this 1,500 kVA which is provide -- I mean, becoming a product in that particular space? Can you give some color over there as to what could be the revenue for data center in 1H FY '25, that would be helpful?

Cyient Limited

Cyient Limited CC-Dec24.pdf · 2025-01-27
Largely wanted to understand on the I mean an outlook that we are looking for F Y26. I mean when we had started FY25, at that point in time we were expecting deal wins to pipeline to flow into deal and then to flow into revenue and that was resulting into a high single digit kind of a growth. What part of the confidence now is coming from this particular part of the framework for FY26? I just want to get a bro ader understanding around that. And second question was on the I mean the top 3 verticals that we are having. Even if we can give some color around the conversations that we are having with some of the top two customers in each of these verticals with respect to the budget spends that they are going to do with us for C Y25 that will be really helpful here.

Karthik, I wanted to understand structurally on the aero side, is there a structural change acting on the outsourcing you can clear some air around this? There are talks that OEMs have called to reduce the outsourcing, but is there a structural change on the outsourcing side that will be helpful? Second question was on the guidance part and the guidance that we have given now flattish kind of revenue, how much is there in the books? What part of the guidance is coming from the order backlog which is already there in the books and what part of the guidance are you considering from new deals which you will win in this particular financial year and that you expect to ramp up, some clarification around that will be helpful?
Just one extension to this, is there any pressure on reducing outsourcing?

Sir, I wanted to understand what the seasonality impact of SWC , If you can quantify both at the company level and second also in the North America region? I just wanted to understand what the underlying growth is after removing the seasonality impact of SWC. The second question was just on the SDV. You mentioned that you are signing a couple of SDVs. If you can provide some details as to what kind of OEMs are this and what size of contracts are this, that will be helpful.
I mean on the SDV side, I wanted to understand more on your revenue rather than the margins. If I rephrase my question, without considering the SWC seasonality, what would have been the growth at the company level and at North America level?
